On at 1.22 on Adams here. Can see him going all the way again here. Should have too much for Walton, who apart from a quarter final appearance two years ago as been poor in this tournament for some time. Incidentally in 2009 he did knock out the defending champion in round 2! Lightening won't be striking twice here though!

Got on Thompson after he took a 2-1 lead coming back from 0-1 down. Looking ok without playing particularly well.

As we are on Quarter final day of the PDC darts it is also round 1 of the BDO darts.

Defending champion Martin Adams is up against Tony Watson. I think 1.16 is very generous but I maybe completely wrong as I know little about darts so we shall see.

Ted Hankey v Dave Chisnall

Backed Ted Hankey when he was 2-1 up in Sets and 2-2 with the throw in the 4th set.

Chisnall had the chance to break for the set but fluffed it so Hankey won to go 3-1 up. Enough for me to take a nice even green and check out how the tennis is going.

Layed all my green at 1.1 when 4-1. Greened up again at 1.13. £146.12 on both now!

John Henderson v Scott Waites

Waites is at 1.18 for this match and I thought long and hard (at least 5 secs) about laying it but instead I opted for the back as Waites has the throw in the first set.

Henderson is an old fashioned style darts player and certainly has the physique. I bet he wishes they all still swilled beer and smoked while they played!!

Waites on the other hand wouldn't look out of place working in your local fish and chip shop! I don't know what it is he just has that look about him.

BDO World Darts 2 nd Round again.

Woods leads 2-0 in sets so I've got on at 1.12/1.13 hoping he can break here for a 3-0 lead as up to now he has been the better player by far.

He had the chance to beak the throw but fluffed it 1-0 Wagner. Hope it doesn't cost him!

1-1 Can he nick the break now then? Hmm suddenly his darts are starting to stray!
2-1 Wagner. Need to take this leg to keep the pressure on. Oof missed the checkout and Wagner takes advantage for the set! Woods still has the set lead against the throw though so a hold he and the odds will come tumbling back down... I hope!

John Henderson v Mareno Michels

BDO orld Darts Championship 1st Round again.

I watched the first leg and decided that the young Dutch lad can't hit trebles . He managed to win the leg but only because Henderson had 2 treble 20's fall out of the board.

I got on between 1.41 and 1.44. I have put up a lay at 1.14 just in case. In fact as I've been typing I see it has been taken so even green £76.18 on both. He hasn't even taken the first set yet!!

Right that gives me the opportunity to take down the Christmas decorations! Such a sad time really. Normal people off back to work tomorrow and Christmas now nothing but a memory! Still, there's only 331 days to go before Advent starts!! :-)

Got on when the score was 2-0 (2-2) to West hoping he could seal the match. Unfortunately Barilli took the set to make it 2-1. I got on at 1.16.

My God the standard here is appalling compared to the "other" tournament. 24 dart checkout wins the match LOL

Raymond Van Barneveld v Simon Whitlock

Semi final of the PDc in Darts.

I got on with Barneveld 4-2 up in sets. Odds were 1.26 hoping Barney can take two of the next four.

It would seem Brett Lee has grown a beard and a pony tail and taken up darts!!

Barney got the chance in that set to go 5-2 up but instead it's 4-3. Barney with the throw.

Takes the first leg nicely. A break would settle the nerves! This Brett Lee Geezer looks quite useful though! He's missing a few doubles now though. But another chance wasted by Barney followed by a rubbish start to the 3rd leg.

Mind you now Barney can't hit a treble!! Break to Whitlock may come here! Nope missed the double tops! Barney back in but he fluffs it! Whitlock gets the break for a 2-0 lead!

Whitlock takes the set!! That's sport for you Barney should have had 5-2 then suddenly it's 4-4!!
Whitlock has the throw this set and Barney's trebles are nowhere to be seen so I've switched as I would have Whitlock as the slight favourite not Barney at 1.89!!

I actually stuffed up here as I was trying to put in a speculative back of 1.21 just in case he fluffed up his throw when it was 1.01/1.02 unfortunately I typed 1.01 and got matched!

Luckily he didn't fluff it though and the bet won.

Raymond Van Barneveld v Kevin Painter

3rd Round from the Darts PDC World Championships again.

Barney was favourite from the off and thought about getting on from the start but I held my discipline as I have noticed that my bets from the off tend to go somewhat awry!!

Anyway I waited till Barney had a 3-1 lead before getting involved @ 1.15. A fair price to me considering he has the throw this set.

Here's hoping he finishes in style!

That's the 1st leg in the bag. A break now would be extremely satisfactory.

Out at 1.04. Gotta be taken in darts when  you can mind you Barney does get the break for 2-0.
Still I'm £15.32 on both.
