Jets lead 7-3 and have the football in Patriots territory with 1.33 on the clock in the 2nd quarter!

Switch at 2.24 come on Jets!!

And that is Half time. I think Pats get the ball to start the 3rd. Because of this I'm switching back to Pats at 2.24.

A drive each from Pats and Jets both come to nothing. Pats have the ball now and would like a score please! I need 1.95 to green out and be ready for the tennis in half an hour! Have a heart!

That's rubbish from New England! Have to punt and lucky to get away with the recovery on 2nd down!

I knew the law of averages had to swing some time so stuck with Pats. They duly provided a Touchdown drive and got the 2 extra points to narrow the score to 14-11.

Fancy Steelers here especially with home advantage. I missed the off though so lumped on at 1.42 just as Steelers were awarded a 37 yard penalty for 1st down on Baltimore 25 yard line.

Steelers suffer at the hands of a 33 yard penalty this time!

FFS Roethliberger being sacked on his own 3 yard line is bad enough! But to fumble it for an easy Ravens Touchdown is unforgivable!!

Well Steelers rubbish again not getting a 1st down that drive and Roethlisberger sacked again!
Be thankful for small mercies I guess! Ravens can only get 1 1st down on their own drive and have to punt!

FFS not content with nearly getting inetercepted on first down they decide to fumble it on second down to give Baltimore possession on Steelers 16 yard line! Woeful!

Michigan State v Texas Tech

Thanks (I hope) to GVL for the heads up on this. Backing Texas Tech from the off. It would seem both teams are in a bit of trouble with Texas sacking their head coach but Michigan have suspended a load of players including their two wide receivers!

Managed to get 1.35 after it had been turned in play though the game hadn't actually started.

Texas open the scoring after an interception they go on a drive and get the Touchdown and extra point for a 7-0 lead after only 5 mins.

46 yard run from Michigan straight through the middle brings the game level at 7-7 with 3.47 left in the 1st.

I have now topped up at 1.39 with the winnings from the basketball now that has been settled.

Texas held to a field goal on that drive so they lead 10-7  with 14mins left in the 2nd quarter.

Texas have the ball back after a great shutout. A touchdown drive would be very nice here 13 mins left in 2nd.

Touchdown!! Set up by an excellent 51 yard pass to the Michigan 2 yd line in the first play of the drive! 17-7.

TD Michigan and so frustrating as I was trying to green out since the last Texas TD but no liquidity! 17-14

1st down he drops it in the endzone. 2nd down and I have no idea how Michigan got away with the pass interference in the end zone! That is followed by a 5 yd penalty on the FG attempt which they subsequently miss. Still 17-14 Michigan have the ball on own 31 with 5m37 left in the 2nd.

Texas have the ball back after a charged down fg attempt with 2m48 left in the 2nd quarter. They only manage a FG for a 20-14 lead with 17 secs left in the half. As they get the ball first in the 2nd half let's just hope they don't give away any silly points here. Halftime score is 20-14.

AH crap!! Kick off return was fumbled! Michigan Touchdown! They lead 21-20.

Texas back in the redzone! This time they need a touchdown! 1st down on the 13 yard line.
Touchdown!!! 27-21 Texas. Now then let's have a shutout now please.

Yess. Texas have the ball on own 33 yd line. Scoring drive required! Texas are killing themselves with all these penalties they keep giving! Forced to punt when they were in FG range before penalty!

Another silly penalty gives 1st and 5 rather than 2nd and 10! They then fake the 4th down kick and end up with a touchdown. Michigan lead 28-27.

I think if you add up all the wasted scoring opportunities and the points given away through penalties Texas could have over a 20 point lead by now! :-(

I am starting to get a bit nervous I really need a Touchdown from this drive!

Nerves have got the better of me an I'm out at the end of the 3rd quarter for £6.25 on both. If only I'd been matched both times I tried to green for £45 on both! Oh well better safe than sorry I guess. Texas are too short now imho!

Well it would seem Texas were too low as Michigan are now favourites!
Oh well looks like Texas are going to win now. Trading at 1.06. Mind you better safe than sorry!

Arizona Cardinals @ San Francisco 49ers

This match was the Monday night game. Unfortunately through an internet malfunction during the game I couldn't post it earlier but here it is for reference.

I really thought that the Cardinals would be far too strong for the 49ers here despite being the away team. Hence I took the price of around 1.49 for £10.00.

It was 10-0 to the 49ers when I lost my connection at the end of the 1st Quarter.

The final score was 24-9 to the 49ers. An emphatic and somewhat surprising victory.

The good news is that it ticks a couple of boxes off the Christmas list. I need to get my skates on a bit here so will look for multiple links from now on if they are available.

As discussed on the chat I have decided to go for Browns +16.5 on this match. That is one heck of a handicap for a team on the road to overhaul! Inclement weather has been reported too which bodes for a lower scoring game.

Just glad my stakes are small at the moment as the market has terrible liquidity so there would be no chance to trade in running. Probably leave it and head to bed.

Home field advantage and that 4 pt cushion is enough for me to think this is value. Hoping they can stop Dallas scoring on this drive and the odds should be low enough to warrant a green out.

1.25 is a gift if Drew Brees plays anywhere near the level he played in their last game against the Patriots.

Well I've done my standard lump on the home team favourites. Yes it is random but that is my mainstay in NFL.
My actual bet is to Lay the Titans at 2.8 and I see they've come in slightly already :-(

Atlanta Falcons @ New York Giants

All in on the Giants at home today. Not got much time for a write up as having my dinner.

However 1.34 is fine for me. Hopefully add more when my belly is full :-)

Well not exactly the start I had been hoping for. Falcons lead 7-3 early in the 2nd Quarter. I was hoping for a strong 1st half from the Giants so I could trade out and move on.

And now they go and end a great drive with a missed field goal attempt from 31 yards!!

That's more like it Manning seems to be having a good game here the score doesn't reflect the game in my opinion. Giants lead 10-7 with 7 mins left to halftime.

Well it must be the night for missed Field Goals as Falcons miss from 35 yards so the score remains 10-7 to the Giants.

A Falcons  gives a turnover to Giants 1st down on the Falcons 34 yard line with 1.34 on the clock. A TD here and halftime will be much more relaxed!

TOUCHDOWN!!!! Extra point added.... Giants lead 17-7. Halftime.

Not a great start to the 2nd half! Falcons score a Touchdown with their first drive! 17-14 now.
Giants go straight back up the other end for a Touchdown 24-14 8.36 left in the 3rd quarter.

Despite The Giants trying their hardest to help Falcons with penalties that drive, they can only manage a field goal. The score is 24-17 now and if The Giants can get a Touchdown on this next drive the odds should certainly be nice and low for a trade out and even green before the tennis starts!

After much deliberation I decided to go with the Colts in the early kick offs. For me Patriots were just too short so didn't offer value, and Falcons price came in a bit too quickly for my liking. Colts have been on fine form despite making hard work of it last week so should win by 7 at least I think.

Colts Lead 13-3 at half time. As it happens my other two selection are also winning with Falcons romping it 24-3, but Patriots struggling a tad with a 16-10 lead.

 Well the 3rd Quarter hasn't started well! The Texans started with a touchdown drive then the Colts had to punt on their drive. 13-10 with just over 6 mins left in the 3rd.

Well that was tighter than I was hoping for!!
